Silence Quest

Tired of fighting off anxiety
Will it ever let go of me?
And what of all those crazy voices
Wanting so many different choices?
Will they ever let me rest?
Eyes closed with silence is a quest
I know there is something underneath
But I can’t seem to manage a peek
Instead it fades like a mirage
Or a falling house made of cards
