I was bound to the Master
And prayed to be set free
Next thing I knew
You were sent to me
We worked on my lessons
From the very start
I always understood
Something set you apart
But then out of the blue
Things began to change
And my prayers began to ask
For release from your chains
I was aching for a saviour
A knight in armour replete
But what I’ve come to know
Is that my saviour is me
It is I who holds Excalibur
I am the one I seek
It’s me who has released the chains
And set my own self free
